As Ram Dass’s home for the last 15 years of his life, his presence transformed the house into a sacred space to share unconditional love and devotion.  

When Ram Dass dropped his body in December 2019, the energy of Maharaj-ji and Ram Dass remained. Ram Dass’s caregivers and satsang gathered to cultivate a vision for the space and Hanuman Maui – Ram Dass Loving Awareness Sanctuary was born out of this vision to preserve his home as a spiritual sanctuary. 

Ram Dass’s room, study and living quarters are maintained as they were when he passed.  The house and gardens serve as sacred space including the new Hanuman Mandir and Loving Awareness Garden where some of Ram Dass’s ashes are planted under a mango tree.
